Started in 2006 by Dani Baker and David Belding, Cross Island Farms is located on 102 acres on Wellesley Island in the beautiful 1000 Islands Region of the St. Lawrence River in Northern NY.

Mid-River Farm, operated by Harry and Eileen Slate, offers locally raised beef from Grindstone Island on the St. Lawrence River. Mid-River Farm works closely with nature to preserve wildlife habitat through abandoned field preservation and rotational grazing. Cattle are fed a diet consisting only of forages (grass) and never grain or hormones.
